Pink coming to town

Hi Laura

We bring you great news this week P!nk fans... Your favourite lady will be gracing our shores next week as she flies into the UK for a whirlwind promo visit. During her stay she's scheduled to do a number of things for TV, press and radio, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for a P!nk takeover.
Important dates for your diary are (we will of course keep you up-to-date with where you can catch P!nk as and when we get that info):
Sunday 28th September - 'For One Night Only', ITV1 - performance
Monday 29th September - Paul O'Grady Show, Channel 4 - performance & interview

This week P!nk shoots to the No.1 spot on the U.S. singles chart with her smash hit, 'So What'. The irresistible rocking single tops Billboard’s “Hot 100 Singles,” “Hot Digital Songs” and “Hot Digital Tracks” charts, and is the No. 1 radio airplay gainer for four weeks in a row, making it one of the top 10 most played songs at CHR radio stations. The David Meyers directed video is currently in rotation on VH-1, Fuse, Music Choice, and is one of the top ten videos on MTV. If you haven't seen the hilarious video yet, click here now.

'So What' was co-written by P!nk and produced by collaborator Max Martin, who worked with her on ‘Who Knew' and 'U + Ur Hand'. The New York Times describes the first single from her forthcoming album, 'Funhouse', as “Guitar-charged and aggressively bouncy,” and the Boston Herald gives it a “B+.” 'Funhouse' is her fifth studio effort and is due for release on October 27th (pre-order your copy here) and 'So What' will be available to download from 26th September and hits the shops on 29th September (pre-order your copy here).

That's it for now, but we'll be back with more P!nk news soon, so watch this space...
