The Bottom Line: So I guess we did need another breakup anthem...and let's just say, you don't want to be Pink's ex. For producer, co-songwriter Max Martin, he is once again scaling the heights he reached with Kelly Clarkson's classic "Since U Been Gone." Pink is back and not to be ignored.

With all of the storm and fury of these artists, is there still room for the attitude of Pink? After listening to her new single "So What," the answer is a rousing "Yes!"
I'm not sure many breakup songs begin so matter of factly as:"I guess i just lost my husband, I don’t know where he went, So i’m gonna drink my money, I’m not gonna pay his rent." However, Pink has never been an artist to pull punches. "So What" takes its rightful place in her catalog with such aggressively personal hits as "Don't Let Me Get Me" and "Who Knew."
Musically, Max Martin punches up the energy level to 10. A singsongy intro gives way to a martial beat and chorus that's likely to send fists pounding into the air. Synth backing nearly sends it all over the top.
If you thought Avril was tough, Pink will show you who is the real thing.
